This hillside Victorian property required a front driveway and rear garden renovation which has now dramatically elevated both the functionality and visual appeal of the property. At the front, the driveway has been transformed with beautifully snake-pointed granite Malvern stone wall, a permeable gravel chipping driveway, and a softly enhanced entrance that creates a welcoming sense of arrival and strong kerb appeal. To the rear, the previously unusable and poorly proportioned space has been reimagined into a free-flowing, tiered garden, thoughtfully designed with pockets of modern Italian porcelain paving to create dedicated areas for relaxing and dining. This is elegantly connected by a sequence of bespoke, varied step transitions that enhance both movement and visual drama throughout the space. A spontaneous exposure of a Victorian well during the demolition work allowed us to rejuvenate the well and also introduce a full irrigation system fed from the well.
